This is just a great and unique jazz/blues album without a single bad track. The songs themselves travel through a variety of styles, ranging from tough rock (You’re the Exception) to gentle nostalgia (Blue Slipper).

It’s great to see this album re-released at last. I have the 1987 original on EMI, but the music sounds as good now as it did then.
